DAC partners with Treasure Data to support CDP
implementation and the use of marketing solutions
~for companies initiating DX in a promising CDP market~

Tokyo, June 17, 2021 – D.A.Consortium Inc. (DAC) is pleased to announce that it has concluded a partnership agreement with Treasure Data KK, a CDP (customer data platform) company. This agreement will enable DAC to better support primarily companies undergoing full-fledged DX (digital transformation) to implement Treasure Data CDP(*1) and utilize in-house and external marketing solutions.

With the growth of data-driven marketing, the need to build CDPs that comprehensively manage company-owned customer data is expanding. In Japan, major corporations have taken the lead in building CDPs and now with a greater range of companies following suit, it is forecasted that this market will grow at an average annual rate of 30%(*2).

However, despite the increasing need for data utilization and DX promotion, there are numerous issues that hinder CDP implementation. The lack of personnel with specialized knowledge, the inability to design and manage appropriate marketing and CRM initiatives, and the difficulty in determining return on investment using PoC (proof of concept) are cited as the main reasons companies are not able to build a CDP.

DAC will work with Treasure Data, which has over 400 client companies around the world, to support primarily companies undergoing digital transformation. DAC will harness Treasure Data’s expertise to reinforce its ability to provide packaged services that offer total support to effectively implement and utilize CDP, from design to operation.

DAC has extensive experience in the development of its AudienceOne®(*3) and in the construction of CDPs utilizing Treasure Data CDP. Harnessing this knowledge and strength, DAC supports a wide range of marketing tools, such as its own solution DialogOne®(4), offers privacy protection consulting services that use Sourcepoint(*5), a tool to obtain user consent for personal data processing, and promotes services that use machine learning functions.

Through this partnership agreement with Treasure Data, DAC hopes to harness the strengths of both companies to promote DX and effective digital marketing activities for a wide range of client companies.
