DAC launches global solution for LINE Business Connect “DialogOne”, taking advantage of linkage with LINE
- DAC starts One-to-One communication support online, beginning with its first launch in Thailand-
Tokyo, March 1, 2016 --- D.A.Consortium Inc. (DAC) launched “DialogOne”, which is a solution for LINE Business Connect (*1), in Thailand as its first global expansion.
DAC has been conducting tourism promotions in Saga jointly with Spicebox, Inc. (Spicebox) and LINE Corporation (LINE), and expanded DialogOne services in Thailand as part of the promotions (*2).
DAC is qualified for “LINE Business Connect Partner Program” (*3) and will promote the services in foreign countries, as the first in Thailand, availing ourselves of the partnership with LINE.
In Thailand, 54% of the population uses the Internet, and 58% uses social media. These rates are higher among the APAC region, that shows smartphone is widely spread in Thailand (*4). And also LINE is most popular in Thailand among Asian countries. Many companies from a wide array of industries, including automobile, finance and food service, have already found values in communicating with users on LINE through official account promotions.
Since LINE started advertising services in 2012, DAC has worked with advertising agencies as a media representative to support marketing activities of the client companies who utilized LINE as a marketing platform. DAC has also been promoting one-to-one communications between companies and LINE users as a “LINE Business Connect Partner” by using technology fostered by DAC’s Data Management Platform:“AudienceOne®” among other developments since LINE’s Business Connect services started in 2014. The company is now starting global operations of “DialogOne” with such achievements and know-how.
DAC announces the launch of “DialogOne” in Thailand as part of measures to increase in-bound travelers’ demands for the Saga tourism promotion undertaken by Spicebox, a Hakuhodo Inc.’s group company, and other companies.
The service enables each individual traveler to approach from Thailand to enhance Saga’s brand value and improve travelers’ satisfaction levels.

“DialogOne,” provided by DAC, is a messaging service management solution compatible with LINE’s Business Connect that combines client data possessed by the advertisers and LINE’s account data to leverage the company’s official LINE account in a more sophisticated manner. The service delivers more suited messages for each individual user to materialize one-on-one communication.
■ Future Developments
DAC plans to expand “DialogOne” services on a global level to countries in which LINE is popular, particularly in the APAC region that includes Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and Taiwan with DAC’s subsidiaries DAC ASIA PTE. LTD. (DAC Asia) and I-DAC(Thailand ) Co.Ltd, starting with the launch in Thailand.
DAC and DAC Group will continue to fortify functions and expand services for “DialogOne” to develop environments in which advertisers and users can enjoy smooth cross-channel communications.
(*1) “LINE Business Connect” is a service where various functions of official LINE accounts are provided by LINE Corporation for corporations with API in which they can customize for usage. By utilizing “LINE Business Connect,” corporations can send optimized messages to particular users in addition to one-sided messages to the LINE users as with traditional LINE message from official corporate accounts. Since it enables corporations to deliver the information users want based upon the user’s communication contents and behaviors, one-on-one communication between the corporations and the users would be possible. Furthermore, the service can also go beyond the scopes of conventional message distribution tools to be used as a CRM tool and operation solutions tool by linking existing databases possessed by corporations, in-house systems and LINE accounts upon user consent.
