DAC’s DMP ”AudienceOne®” forms alliance with Criteo

Tokyo, September 10, 2019--- D.A.Consortium Inc. (DAC) is pleased to announce the collaboration with Criteo, the advertising platform for the open Internet, to link DAC’s data management platform (DMP) AudienceOne® (*1) with Criteo’s ad delivery solution (*2). With this collaboration, advertiser companies will be able to utilize AudienceOne® audience data when delivering ads via Criteo for more effective full-funnel, dynamic ad campaigns.

Criteo is an advertising platformer that offers display-type dynamic retargeting ad delivery and prospecting ad delivery, among others. Criteo’s strength lies in its ability to machine learn users’ browser and purchase histories as well as interests, to offer personalized ad at the right time on the right channel.

AudienceOne® is one of Japan’s largest data management platforms (DMP) with a huge volume of data related to its 480 million monthly unique browser cookies, over 100 million mobile ad IDs and more than 2 trillion data points, which it analyzes to provide high-definition third-party data. In addition to gender, age, yearly income and other demographic data, it has approximately 1,400 types of data related to hobbies and interests (psychographic data) as well as specialized data provided by AudienceOne®partner companies.

Ad delivery over Criteo involves machine learning using the Criteo AI engine to identify the most optimal users and then deliver a personalized ad to those users.

This collaboration will enable more flexible targeting of potential customers by allowing companies to use AudienceOne® data for greater and more detailed control of areas and the delivery of more dynamic ads that take into account attributes, hobbies, interests, purchasing behavior and other data. For example, ads can be delivered to potential customers who are interested in the same category of product as the advertiser, who are similar to past customers of the advertiser, who live in the same area as those who frequently purchase the advertiser’s product or a variety of other potential segments.

DAC will continue to bridge AudienceOne® with more platforms and solutions to support the optimization of client companies’ marketing activities and to contribute to the ongoing evolution of the online advertising market.
